I am a Maine native and have lived in seven of this state's sixteen counties. By profession, I am a middle school science teacher. My experience and training in art began with the drawings required for biology courses such as anatomy and micro technique. Art for Art's sake is something I did while on school vacations. My preferred medium is acrylic paints on canvas, and my favorite subject is vista landscapes.

Translating my art to fiber format and collaborating with Maryweave is a new venture for me, an adventure I've begun as I explore creative avenues prior to retirement.
