About Maryweave Studio and Handweaving
Maryweave studio, founded in Maine in 1979 by Theresa Lagoy, has been transferred to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Lowell, Vermont. We will soon be updating the "Story" page. Please check back from time to time.
Vestments used in liturgical worship should be beautiful, enhance the celebration and be symbolic of it. How fitting when they, like the bread and wine, are the "work of human hands", designed and woven in an atmosphere of reverence and prayer.
